COVID-19 Vaccination Programme

Hong Kong International Medical Centre (IMC) has participated in the government's COVID-19 Vaccination Programme. The following eligible persons will be provided with FREE Sinovax – CoronaVac. Please call 2878-2988 to make an appointment.

Persons Eligible for Receiving Vaccination
Hong Kong residents
  • Hong Kong residents aged 16 or above
  • Personnel in healthcare settings and those participating in anti-epidemic related work
  • Residents and staff of residential care homes for the elderly / persons with disabilities and staff of Community Care Service units for the elderly / persons with disabilities
  • Personnel maintaining critical public services (including employees of Government service contractors)Personnel providing cross-boundary transportation or working at control points and ports
  • Registered construction workers and other resident site personnel
  • Staff of local public transport service operators (e.g. taxi/bus/public light bus drivers, train captains and station staff)
  • Staff of food and beverages premises, markets, supermarkets, convenience stores and couriers (including takeaway food delivery)
  • Staff of property management (e.g. security guards, cleaning staff and property management office staff)
  • Teachers and school staff (e.g. teaching and support staff of kindergartens, primary and secondary schools and universities; staff of special schools; and drivers and escorts of school buses and school private light buses)
  • Staff of the tourism industry
  • Staff of scheduled premises under the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F) (e.g. staff of fitness centres and beauty parlours)
  • Domestic helpers
  • Accompanying person(s) that already received the first dose of vaccine
  • Others (Persons who do not belong to any of the above groups)
Non-Hong Kong residents
  • Holders of Exit-entry Permits for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao who are allowed to stay in Hong Kong as a visitor and can complete two doses of vaccination within their limit of stay without extension can seek assistance from any post office (except mobile post offices) during office hours, to make appointments for completing two doses of vaccination in the 29 CVCs within their limit of stay.
  • Non-refoulement claimants and refugees recognised by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees can, through the International Social Service Hong Kong Branch, indicate their intention of receiving vaccination. The Government plans to provide vaccination to this group starting from July at four to six designated CVCs, where interpretation service will be available. The International Social Service Hong Kong Branch’s enquiry hotline are 6511 8566 (Kwun Tong Office); 6511 7786 (Prince Edward Office) and 6515 9466 (Tuen Mun Office).

You should not have vaccine if you are:
  • Under 16 years old;
  • Pregnant or lactating;
  • With uncontrolled severe chronic diseases;
  • With severe neurological conditions (e.g. transverse myelitis, Guillain-Barre syndrome, demyelinating diseases, etc.);
  • With previous severe allergic reactions to vaccine;
  • With history of allergic reaction to any component (active or inactive ingredients, or any material used in manufacturing process) of vaccine or similar vaccines.

- This programme is not for the purpose of medical diagnosis or treatment.
- If this service cannot be performed due to special reasons of force majeure, or amendments of this vaccination programme from the HKSAR government, International Medical Centre reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this activity or change the equivalent service.
- International Medical Centre reserves the right to make final decisions on all activities, including changing the terms and conditions of the activities, discounts and other arrangements without prior notice.
